Who is responsible?

xcited is a brand of Appinq BV, Alsembergsesteenweg 620 box 6, 1180 Uccle, Belgium, VAT BE 0523.917.091. Appinq BV is the data controller for personal data processed via xcited.io. Questions about this policy: myrequest@xcited.io.

What data do we process?

Data you share with us when you schedule an intro call, apply for the founding member or design partner programme, or e-mail us: name, company, role, e-mail address, domain name and the content of your message.

In addition, our hosting provider processes standard server logs (such as IP address and timestamp) to keep the website secure and available. The website itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies; see our cookie policy.

Why, and on what legal basis?

We use your data to answer your question and schedule calls (pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest), to run the programmes you apply for (performance of the contract) and to secure the website (legitimate interest). We do not sell data, do not use automated decision-making and do not send direct marketing without your consent.

How long do we keep data?

No longer than necessary for the purpose it was provided for. Contact data without an active client relationship is deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact; data within a client relationship is kept for as long as the agreement and legal retention obligations require.

Who do we share data with?

Only with service providers needed to run the website and our services, such as hosting and calendar scheduling. We have GDPR-compliant agreements with processors and choose EU-based processing wherever possible. A data processing agreement (DPA) is available on request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. E-mail myrequest@xcited.io; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority via dataprotectionauthority.be.
